Ontario Baby is an up-and-coming interdisciplinary magazine focused on people who have had a formative or coming-of-age experience in Ontario. Through art, writing, culture, and personal storytelling, we explore the narratives that shape Ontario’s identity.

Ontario Baby is interested in work that reflects on regional identity, community, and self-definition. We ask questions like: What is Ontario to us? What does it mean to be Canadian? Why are we unique? Why does it matter?
By amplifying local voices and experiences, Ontario Baby aims to deepen our understanding of belonging in the province, especially within today’s shifting digital and political landscape. -

We also welcome visual art inspired by the Ontario experience, including (but not limited to): drawing, painting, collage, photography or graphic design.
